Growing up, I didn't listen to much music that wasn't on Christian radio or sold in Christian book stores. It's how I was taught. I've experienced much other since, and have found out much of the music I was brought up on was uninspired, uncreative, and unimaginative. Here are a few songs, in no particular order, that have held up well over time for me.
Plankeye - Bicycle
The Juliana Theory - If I Told You This Was Killing Me
Jars Of Clay - Oh My God
Poor Old Lu - Where Were All Of You
Sixpence None The Richer - Love, Salvation, The Fear Of Death
Bloomsday - The Day The Colors Died
Further Seems Forever - Wearing Thin
Relient K - For The Moments I Feel Faint
